President John Dramani Mahama has pleaded with the angry black stars to honour the travel arrangements for their final group game against the Portugese. The players reportedly threatened to discard the the trip protesting over the non-payment of allowances and appearance fees.
The players were supposed to go for training this morning but refused to show up due to the protest over the delay of their money. The situation was so volatile that prez Mahama had to intervene. He promised to pay by the close of the day.
